I caught Addy last night having some good belly laughs at Brighton. Brighton was barking at me and I ended up making silly faces at her every time he barked, which made her laugh continuously for about 5 minutes....it was super cute! I caught a good laugh at the very beginning of the video, but after that, it is really hard to hear her because Brighton is SO LOUD! We had fun and wanted to share this with you guys. Sorry it is so short!

We decided to venture out today and drove 2 hours into the Cascade Mountain range. Tanner took us to the Snoqualmie Falls, then to the Pacific Crest Trail, and finally to the Yakima River to go fly fishing. Addy caught her first trout at 4 months and the fishing adventure only lasted about 30 minutes. We had a great time and she did fabulous the whole trip!

Here are a few of Addy's 4 month pictures. She loves to put anything in her mouth....even her buttercup cow. She also loves to either sit or stand up! We are working on trying to roll over, but laying down is not her favorite....she HAS to know what is going on at all times! Please forgive my appearance...this was after working and I had been up since 4 am.

Hollar in the house!

Katie Hollar came to visit us yesterday in Washington. She was in town for work and had the opportunity to pay us a visit! It was great seeing her!! Addy and Katie bonded well and this was my first friend from Kansas to meet her. We decided to take her to the farmer's market today which is about all we have to offer here in the fabulous small town of Olympia! Katie, we hope you have a great trip while you are here in Washington....see you in a month!

Addy started rice cereal!!

Again, this is a three part series. We started Addy on rice cereal last night and it lasted all of about 2 minutes! She is so funny to watch. It is hard to tell what she hates more, the texture, the taste, or the fact that it just isn't breast milk! I think I made it too thick last night, plus I used water instead of breast milk. We are going to try and do a few things different tonight! Wish us luck!!

This is the third and final video of Addy trying the rice cereal for the first time last night. She even gave us the pouty lip! The pouty lip doesn't last long, but it is a face that she does and boy does she do it well!

Last Day with Uncle Ryan and Karla

Today was Addyson's last day with Ryan and Karla. We are very sad because we enjoyed having them here. Addy loved to laugh at Uncle Ryan...he was very entertaining! We will miss you guys! Addy also had her 4 month check up with her pediatrician and she weighed 15 lbs 4 oz and is 24 3/4 inches long. She is 90th percentile for both height and weight. Also, last night Addy discovered something new....her voice!! She is VERY talkative now. She use to babble and coo before, but now she is very vocal and even seems to scream sometimes. We think she just likes to hear herself talk! It is very cute and amazing to see the transformation she has gone through in such a short amount of time!

I've finally gotten around to posting new pictures of Addy! We've been super busy in the Tenbrink household, plus Addy and I have been down with a cold and cough. We are slowly recovering...she is doing better than I am! We are trying to get ready for Uncle Ryan and his girlfriend Karla who are coming this week. Addy is getting bigger every day and seems like she does something new every day! Here are some pictures of Addy in her jumperoo and with her "Brighton" blanket. Now I just need to figure out how to post a super cute video of Addy....stay tuned!!
